We require a dynamic person to lead our Functions and Catering team.  The team is responsible for coordinating all our events and functions and liasing closely with the Restaurant, Bar, Resort and Entertainment departments. The successful candidate will be passionate about their job, highly organised and able to lead by example.

As part of a Team, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Actively seeking out and engaging new customers
• Completing run sheets on all social and function activities booked for the Club
• Proactively following up sales leads, enquiries and quotes
• Utilising the internal booking and management systems for Functions and Events
• Planning events from start to finish, according to requirements, target audience and objectives – and ensuring delivery of the highest standard
• Clearly communicating with internal and external stakeholders
• Sourcing and negotiating with vendors and suppliers
• Assisting in the preparation of events, and in many instances, assisting in the duration of the Event

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Restaurant & Catering Supervisor

The Club  has an opportunity available for an experienced, dedicated and customer focused Restaurant Supervisor (Full-Time) to come on board ASAP. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing food service in our busy dining and catering departments and leading an experienced team to provide a high level of customer service to our patrons.

The Restaurant & Catering Supervisor will lead our catering service teams with a focus on overseeing the operation of Diggers Bistro. The role will also oversee catering and dining services in three function rooms and Clubmulwala Stonegrill Restaurant.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all operations in the Dining areas

Looking for stability and security in your job, working for a beautifully renovated , prestigious NSW Registered Club on the Murray River?

This is a hands-on role responsible for the cleaning of Club facilities and amenities, working as part of a team tasked with maintaining high standards and showing attention to detail.

The successful applicant must be available to work nights and weekends on a rotating roster, with shifts commencing at 12 midnight.  There is potential for this position to become Full Time.
