Come along and celebrate Australia Day at the Federation Council’s Day Awards Ceremony at ClubMulwala on Thursday 26th January.

Start the day by grabbing a coffee and a complimentary breakfast from 8 am before the official event kicks off at 10 am.

The official ceremony will begin with a Welcome to Country. Before we hear from the 2023 Australia Day Ambassador, Ms, Ange Clarke, Founder of Where there’s a Will Ltd, an advocate, and champion for inclusive communities for 25 years.

Followed by the announcement of the Federation Council Citizen of the Year Award, Young Citizen of the Year Award, Community Group the Year Award, and recognition of the Federation Council Local Achiever recipients.

Join us as we acknowledge our youngest residents whose school has specially nominated them for their sporting, community, and academic achievements under the Student Achiever Awards.

We celebrate together as we welcome our new Australians who today become citizens, before joining together for the singing of the national anthem led by local singers, Judy McNamara and Penny Reeves.
