A Tribute to Linda Ronstadt & The Eagles – A Musical Legacy In the early 1970s, Linda Ronstadt set out to take her show on the road — and in doing so, helped shape the future of American rock music. She hired two young, talented musicians, Don Henley and Glenn Frey, to join her touring band. While rooming together on tour, Don and Glenn discovered their shared songwriting talents and vocal chemistry. With Linda’s encouragement, they went on to form what would become one of the most iconic bands in music history: The Eagles.  Not long after their formation, The Eagles rose to fame with chart-topping hits. Linda Ronstadt, already a star in her own right, would later join them on tour, performing backing vocals and tambourine on some of their biggest songs.
